Life Is Beautiful

Salad Days
Is there a period in your own personal life that you think of as the good old days? Tell us a story about those innocent and/or exciting times (or lack thereof).

Child stares the ceiling whole day,
Barely speaks, Barely moves, Tears drooping….
Takes his favourite corner of the bed
Wanting to collapse into himself for shelter

People seem to be his enemies
He barely utters a word
Loves a world of his own
A world, where, being a child isn’t a crime

His mind seems to carve out an impression
He begins to feel it
Feel the moist love of his ‘companion’
The companion of all times – ‘Motherly Dog’

Peeking into the his eyes;
He tries to gather,
Gather all moments of joy,
Gather all embraces and love that he’s got

Dog tries to wipe,
Wipe the pearls flowing through his eyes
Wants to encapsulate the child,
Wants to give his all to bring a smile

Dog perishes
but still he is
He is in his deeds,
He is in his thoughts

And the best part
He tries to be like his ‘companion’
Because everyday he strives
He tries
to be twice the human as he is…..

Unlocking Spirit

Reply to the daily prompt:
Golden Key

You’ve been given a key that can open one building, room, locker, or box to which you don’t normally have access. How do you use it, and why?

Things got stuck
Everything seemed out of control
Life became a mess
Times since I got the caress

I was put to test
Expected to be the best
Burdened to rise above the Rest

Then the tide turned
Horizon drew a line of hope
Discarded every thought of ‘nope’
Hurrah!!! – I got the key to hope

No height seemed too much high
Spirit revved to give everything a try
‘I’ gave a sense of ‘We’
I became an all new me

Key was the spirit
Key was the boost
That was no less than Heroic
Unlocking the key I transformed into Stoic

Waiting Room

“Good things come to those who wait.” Do you agree? How long is it reasonable to wait for something you really want?

We all are Humans. We all are different from the other species on the planet in the way that we can change our lives, we have the power to transform our state into one that we desire with the aid of the best gift from the almighty- “Mind”.

Life is a melancholy which is crafted into a Song with the Ups and Downs, these might seem to be hectic and would pose problems to you, but without the ups and downs; you can introspect yourself that what your life would become.

Amidst the fast paced life, in order to gain money, freedom, job etc.; we don’t even notice that how intrinsically we are engulfed by the negative thoughts and feelings. Everything seems to be in a hap-hazard way and looks like that world has turned upside down.

The most important aspect of struggle, rather I should say, the key to making through it – Patience, goes into the dump of negligence. We aspire to see the effects of our work as soon as possible.Gradually, this makes us impatient and leads to a depressive attitude towards life. We forget everything and live in a space adrift from our goals.

What we forget is that if we continue to exhaust ourselves into our efforts, if we continue with our dilligent work-culture – One day, the Sun Will Rise. This too shall pass – this should be our attitude and without being discontented with our present acquisitions, we must anticipate that the best is yet to come. Waiting doesn’t means that we must stop, rather it states that we must help ourselves to get out of the situation and win with flying colours.Lastly, I want to say one thing

Tomorrow

A Mystical Land where 99% of the

Human Productivity, Motivation And

Achievement is Stored.

So Wait for it, Surely It Will Serve You with A Handful Of Opportunities.

Good Tidings

Present-day you meets 10-years-ago you for coffee. Share with your younger self the most challenging thing, the most rewarding thing, and the most fun thing they have to look forward to.

Hello Rahul….How are You?….How you are doing these days? I start with a round of general introductory questions. But, I am shocked of not getting any reply. I am watching the boy sitting on the other side of the table, trying hard to speak, even utter a word but after all the melo-drama – He can’t. I was just about to apologise, but all of a sudden – A Hello!!!!

Indeed a very mild start to our conversation. With the thought of the boy being frightened, I changed my approach about talking to such a child who has too many fears to even utter a single word. Finally after talking for sometime I realised that the child “suffered” from stammering. The word in inverted commas has been with me since ages but I have always defied it and mocked at its face.

After realising that the child bore all the pressures in a surrounding that was full of domestic violence, hardships and the problem that stood on the top : Stammering. What it feels like when you take the centre stage and no sound comes from mic; rather sounds of mockery and joy fill in from other side of the stage. What it feels like to remain in a severely violence struck house and still go everyday and realise your full potential through your deeds.

I want to teach him that the biggest challenge lies within. The Challenge – When your inner being will fight with your outer being. You will be made to show an entirely different you. And, in case, the child wanted to remain the same, he would have to be the bearer of all the pain caused on account of it.

But above all this, I want to tell him that one day you’ll be among the few in India( 2nd most populous nation) and that day you’ll realise that you have turned the world upside down; not only yours but for others too. I really want to say him that you will perform and you’ll show not to world but to yourself that you have the mettle. For this achievement, you’ll have to pay, you’ll suffer the hardest time of your life, strive to see your grandma(everything in life) but will never see her. The last thing that’ll come is the Silver Lining and You’ll Be The One

After this Joy will be your constant companion always and you’ll have a family of friends and dear ones. And finally ,the true source of joy will come when you’ll witness the manifestation of your lost loved one in the best person you’ll meet till date. You’ll stay with the person not for now but for eternity to share, care and love.

Finally I want to say one thing I know myself now and I knew myself back then. I was a Child only by definition and became grown up even before being recognised as a child. But I always whispered to myself : I’ll break the shell , I’ll come out of it ….Rise from the Hell….I’ll come out of it.
